What I noticed about Tim Burton's characters in his edition of "Alice in Wonderland" was the demented appearance of them all. As compared to the characters in the book, the movie made all the characters look almost like burn outs. The reason I say this, is because the rabbit in the book is shown as a large, almost fat animal. When showed in Burton's movie, the rabbit is skinny with saggy skin. Even with the charcters being like this, it doesn't harm or add to the way I think of the book.
